Rob Lycett
I often explore the typo(graphic) potential of various technological processes (generative computer programmes, GPS data, real-time human interaction). This visual experimentation is concerned with acts of drawing, writing and mapping – in the form of books, digital video and real-time computer graphics. My current work concerns memory and narrative in relation to place.
Rob is facilitating The Map Room workshop and installation on 12th July.

Mark Sunderland
Mark Sunderland is a landscape photographer based in Knaresborough, Yorkshire . Work featured in Art Trail.
"I have been exploring the use of camera movement along with the movement of water to produce abstract landscape and seascape images for some time, but here I am working largely with still subjects (save for the grasses moving in the breeze) and using movement to simplify the landscape, removing fine detail to concentrate on shape and composition and the changing colour and light through the year."
Natalie Wooller
Natalie Wooller
Multimedia Textile Designer.
My passion lies in creating three dimensional sculptural pieces that are made from non traditional textile materials such as plastic, neoprene and latex. My designs can be applied to interior, fashion or art installations.
My work has recently been recognised as aspiring architectural work. I was awarded the Architectural Prize of Noise Festival 2008, and the curator for this competition was Zaha Hadid the award winning conceptual architect and designer of the Aquatic Centre for the London Olympics. This was a great achievement for me to receive such recognition from some one so well renowned in the design world
My current collection explores the concept of optical art. I like to incorporate and examine many different techniques, processes and materials when developing my work as I feel this helps push the boundaries of my designs and encourages me to continually create intriguing and eye catching work.

I have created a number of decorative 3D tubular pieces which represent rays of light for the Art Trail, they are all created by hand and come in a variety of shapes and sizes ranging from 30 cm - 150 cm length, so a number of interesting compositions can be created with them.
The pieces are all made from Neoprene so they are waterproof and durable perfect for typical English weather.
Liz McDonough
See Lizs' work in the Art Trail. "Born in Manchester I moved to Mauritius in 2002 and now live in Cheshire working from my log-cabin studio. My paintings begin with feelings derived from statements, poetry and alternative perspectives bordering on a spiritual level. The intention is to create art which can have an emotional and enlightening impact on the viewer. The purpose is not over-articulating my work enabling individual relationships with each onlooker. The colour violet has been associated with spirituality, having the highest frequency in the visable spectrum. The violet flame is a unique spiritual energy that can help in all areas of your life."
Linda King
My professional practise has evolved out of the past twenty plus years of my passage through life - both as a unique human being with my own story to tell and as a member of the human family.
My background as a body worker and therapist inform my belief that mind and body are inseparable; one informing the other. Spirituality is another vital area of my journeying and alongside a life long interest in natural healing. All these elements have gradually integrated into my particular eclectic facilitating style.

Sarah Jane Palmer
My recent research has been focused on dream phenomena, hypnosis and repetition in nature, pre-occupied by the notion of ‘beauty'. This is ongoing work through which I am examining the relationship between physicality, imagination, fear, threat, enlightenment and transcendence. Process and production are currently my concerns. I am attempting to question the function of the image, its possibilities to transform and trigger real experiences. 'Illumin' will be installed in 'Martini' - The Car-art-van / The Fringe HQ.

"I was working in the City in London, the work was the most stressful I could have imagined. I remember that I had to psyche myself up every day before walking into the office. 'Come on, Piers, come on!' I started to really dislike the commute, the underground, my colleagues, being in a little box room sat in front of a computer all day... I wanted out."
"I began to record stress relief talks almost daily automatically on my MP3 player. It felt wonderful and this knowledge I had learned was being immensely useful to me."
"I am no longer working for corporate America - I left about a year and a half ago. I spend my days writing, walking, exercising, meditating, doing qigong, practicing yoga, and I do a bit of work as well..."
