F-Factor Fringe Film Project funded by Screen Yorkshire and West Yorkshire Police Fund.

Super technology sits in our pockets, occaisionally covered in peanut butter or jam. For the F-Factor we asked people to film something entertaining during the Fringe Festival, make a spoof advert for an event, or record being creative and inspired is good for you and your friends.

There were cinematic prizes for those with the most F-Factor (F stands for film in this instance). Also, as part of this project we created 7 short films by Doug Lyons documenting different aspects of Fringe '09.

What is the fringe?

 

Fringe  [Middle English frenge, from Vulgar Latin frimbia.] fring'y
- Decorative border of hanging threads, something marginal, peripheral or on the edge, a fantastic haircut or hairy curtain.

D.I.Y.  - do-it-yourself.

Festival - celebration: revelry; merrymaking., atmosphere of unrestrained joy.

 

The Fringe '09 could not happened with out all the people and businesses in the community who have helped us.
